ST. LOUIS -- T.J. Oshie's eyes lit up.
He doesn't know the specifics behind Brett Hull's likely return. He doesn't need to, really. The word is out, and it appears it is just a matter of time now.
Excitement is a hard thing to hide.
"I haven't heard too much about it, but if that's the case, I think it's awesome," Oshie said Friday. "Obviously, he is probably one of the most well known players in town here. An unbelievable guy, a great team guy who knows the players' side of the game probably a lot better than most people. It will be great to have him up there."
Hull, the Blues' leading goal scorer whose No. 16 has since been retired, is in the process of becoming the team's vice president, according to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report. The move will reunite the former right wing with the organization he played for from 1987-1998.
Consider Oshie in favor of the addition -- whenever it becomes official.
