The St. Louis Blues placed center Vladimir Sobotka on injured reserve Tuesday due to an ankle injury. Sobotka was hurt during Monday's practice when he took a shot off the left ankle. Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said Sobotka will be re-evaluated in two weeks. Sobotka has two goals and eight assists in 27 games this season.
