ST. LOUIS St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has placed defenseman Kris Russell on injured reserve. Russell suffered a right groin injury on Dec. 27 at Detroit and will be re-evaluated in three weeks.
The Blues will host the Nashville Predators this Friday night at 7 p.m. at Scottrade Center and will travel to Detroit on Saturday to face the Red Wings at 6 p.m. The Blues are currently riding a season high six-game home winning streak and sit fifth in the Western Conference with 46 points
