Philadelphia, PA – In what was probably their most dominating and complete performance of the season thus far, the Boston Bruins cruised to a 6-1 victory over the Flyers in front of a seriously displeased Wells Fargo Center crowd. Displaying the depth that has made them one of the best teams in the NHL, the Bruins got production up and down their lineup as they took it to the home Flyers for a full 60-minutes. Captain Zdeno Chara ended a lengthy goal drought, tallying his 10th and 11th goals. Jarom Iginla ended a 9-game goalless streak, scoring his 14th and 15th goals of the season. Riley Smith added his 16th of the season and Patrice Bergeron rounded out the scoring with his 13th goal. Tuukka Rask continued his strong play as well, stopping 25 of 26 shots and coming just shy of his league leading 6th shutout of the season. The win puts the B’s two points ahead of Tampa Bay for the division lead with two games in hand. The Bruins will travel to Long Island on Monday to face off with...
