WEDNESDAY'S STORY LINE: Yesterday Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher announced Pierre-Marc Bouchard will be out indefinitely with concussion symptoms. This morning, Bouchard himself spoke.
Bouchard reiterated the hit by Zack Bogosian on December 13th was the start of his problems. After the hit, he took a week off and missed two games but came back because he felt "decent enough to play."
That was until last Wednesday in Vancouver; Bouchard took an accidental elbow at the end of the game. The next morning he woke up and didn't feel right.
Having been through this all before, Bouchard knows his body well. His symptoms right now are mostly "headaches and pressure." The symptoms are not as severe as the concussion that kept him out over a hundred games the past two seasons.
"I am trying to be positive here, there are symptoms that I had with the last one that I don't have right now, so I guess it could be a good sign," said Bouchard. "My first concussion, pretty much everything...
