The Bruins almost pulled off an incredible come-from-behind victory on Tuesday night to stun the New York Rangers … almost. Still, salvaging one point from what looked like a certain loss is something for the B’s to hang their hats on, considering how bleak things looked.
Boston scored three unanswered goals — including two with the goalie pulled — to tie the game and send Jack Edwards into a frenzy. It made for an exciting finish, but ultimately a bittersweet one.
