HC Red Ice, of the Swiss National B League, announced yesterday on their Facebook page that they will not resign with Patric Hornqvist for the month of November. Because of the lock out most players are on modified contracts allowing them to leave more freely than yearly contracts.  The team said on their facebook page, which can be in found, in French, here , that the team amicably agreed to cut ties with the Predator after October. Hornqvist had 7 goals and 7 assists in 9 games with the team, he was second overall in points. Many fans commenting on the status wish him all the best, and demonstrate their appreciation for his play     Hornqvist mysteriously and suddenly sat out the last game, on the 28th, with what the team reported as an illness (thanks @theBoysInRed for that).  With the prospect of the lockout continuing, Hornqvist will probably be looking for a better fit than the Swiss B league for playing at a high level of hockey. HC Red Ice's stadium, the Forum D'Octodure, holds only 3520 people. Look for Hornqvist to sign a new deal either in the KHL or a top European league, potential Sweden, his home town.  We'll be sure to keep an eye on the situation and let you know where he ends up!  The full facebook post went on to thank Hornqvist for his dedication to the team and for giving the fans lasting memories they would never forget.  In his absence on Sunday, the team lost 10 - 3 to Olten, who are currently sitting in fourth. HC Red Ice also went on to announce that they have had many conversations with other talent and promised the fans "a new stranger may soon arrive" For a full translation of the post, see after the video.  This video is one of Patrick Hornqvist's goals, and the rest of the game highlights, from the game this past Tuesday.  Full translation of facebook post: "   The HC Red Ice and Swedish Forward Patric Hornqvist have commonly agreed to not renew the contract for the month of November. Hornqvist quits the forum after 9 games and 14 points (7 goals, 7 assists). The board of directors of Red Ice would like to thank him for his dedication over the last month and would like to inform him that he will remain an unforgettable memory for the club's supporters. Several contacts are presently being made to bring a new stranger to the team's roster. "
