Report: Wild nearing extension for head coach John Hynes

The Wild are reportedly nearing an extension for head coach John Hynes, according to The Athletic’s Michael Russo. “The Wild are closing in on extending coach John Hynes, who is entering the final year of his contract, per league sources who are speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss non-public negotiations,” Russo reported on Tuesday.
