Tim Thomas turned aside 33 shots and the visiting Boston Bruins wrapped up the Northeast Division title and the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 2-1 victory over the New York Rangers.Defenseman Dennis Seidenberg and Patrice Bergeron scored second-period goals as the Bruins snapped a five-game losing streak to New York and prevented the Rangers from clinching the top seed in the East.Marian Gaborik scored the lone goal for the Rangers, who remain tied with the Vancouver Canucks in the Presidents' Trophy race with 107 points and three games to play.Thomas kept New York off the scoreboard after Gaborik's early goal and improved to 5-9-3 lifetime against the Rangers.Gaborik put the Rangers on top 4 1/2 minutes into the opening period, scoring on a breakaway for his 40th goal.
