BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has signed center David Krejci (pronounced to a three-year contract extension through the 2014-15 season. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal will not be disclosed. The 25-year-old Krejci was drafted by the Bruins in the 2nd round (63rd overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He has skated in 318 career NHL games – all with Boston – and has registered 62 goals and 165 assists for 227 points. Krejci has tied for the Bruins team lead in points in each of the last two seasons, tallying 52 points in 2009-10 and 62 points in 2010-11. He set career highs in goals, assists, points, games played and plus/minus during the 2008-09 season after tallying 22-51=73 totals in 82 games with a +37 rating.
