The Winnipeg Jets were a roaring success at home in their first season after returning to Manitoba from Atlanta. This year hasn’t been quite the same story.
Despite a reputation as one of the toughest venues to play in, the MTS Center was infiltrated by many Bruins fans on Sunday night — much to the chagrin of Jets supporters showing up to root for the home team.
NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette was able to track down some B’s fans behind enemy lines using Twitter. Check out what they’re up to in the video above.

For a team like the Winnipeg Jets that is already fighting to remain in the playoff picture, keeping your best players healthy and on the ice is a top priority.
Unfortunately for the Jets, who are tied with Washington for last place in the Southeast Division, they will be without defenseman Tobias Enstrom when they host the Bruins on Sunday. Enstrom left Saturday’s loss to Pittsburgh...
Follow Pete on Twitter right HERE Score more goals and let fewer in their own net would be the sensible yet sarcastic response, but thatâs the way things are beginning to unravel in Winnipeg right now. Improved effort is equaling sarcastic jabs from the fans and more than a few media. Itâs not about what can change and what must change, that is clear to the most casual...
from Gary Lawless of the Winnipeg Free Press,
Eight days without any points and the Winnipeg Jets find themselves descending the stairs into the NHL’s basement. They’re not quite all the way down but they can see the cellar floor.
In a condensed 48-game season going to sleep for a week can draw the curtains on a team’s playoff sunlight and that has been the case for...
The Bruins have never beaten the Winnipeg Jets in Winnipeg. This version of the Jets, at least.
Sure, the B’s have only played at the MTS Centre twice, but 0-for-3 is a daunting hole for the B’s to fall into considering the way their last couple of games have gone. After two tough losses in a row, Boston will be looking to bounce back on the road up north. NESN Nation’s Dan...
The Winnipeg Jets have just 11 points this season, but that’s not evident in the way they play against the Bruins. Sunday’s matchup was another tight battle, with Brad Marchand‘s power-play goal just 36 seconds into the third period proving to be the game-winner in a 3-2 Boston victory.
Marchand navigated through the Winnipeg defense and employed a nifty backhand shot to send...
Things are getting desperate for the Winnipeg Jets and today will not be any easier. Facing the Bruins on the last game of a home stand before 5 on the road is not the most ideal situation for a team struggling to put together a solid 60 minutes of effort.
One might ponder the simple question of "what gives with the Jets?". They would have a harder time answering that...

The new Die Hard probably would have gotten better reviews if they cast Craig Adams.
The Tangradi Affair took over this game story-wise and was a wet fart on the whole proceedings.
But we had to keep the engagement lively for the benefit of all that attended.
Hey Winnipeg it's so cold in you. We're sorry.
