The Bruins and the rest of the NHL found out their schedule for the 2013-14 schedule on Friday afternoon, and with the return to the 82-game schedule this season, the B’s will get a look at the entire league. After getting a quick glance at the Bruins’ schedule, there are a handful of games that stand out right away. Here’s a quick look at some of the games to watch this season. Thursday, Oct. 3 versus Tampa Bay — The season and home opener. Enough said. Saturday, Oct. 5 versus Detroit — The Red Wings come to town for the first time as a member of the Eastern Conference and the Atlantic Division. Thursday, Oct. 24 versus San Jose — Joe Thornton returns as the Sharks come to Boston. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Pittsburgh — The first meeting for these two Eastern Conference powers since the B’s swept the Penguins. Tuesday, Nov. 5 versus Dallas — Tyler Seguin returns to Boston for the first time since being traded this summer. Saturday, Nov. 9 versus Toronto — The two teams’ first matchup since the Bruins’ shocking Game 7 win last season. Thursday, Nov. 14 versus Columbus — This could be Nathan Horton’s first return to Boston since signing with the Blue Jackets, although he may still be recovering from offseason shoulder surgery. Thursday, Dec. 5 at Montreal — The historic rivals meet for the first time in the 2013-14 season. Saturday, Dec. 14 at Vancouver — The Bruins and Canucks renew their rivalry that was born in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final. Sunday, Jan. 19 at Chicago — A rematch of the Stanley Cup Final takes place in a Sunday matinee at United Center. Saturday, Feb. 1 versus Edmonton — Andrew Ference makes his return to Boston after signing with the Oilers this summer. Tuesday, Feb. 4 verus Vancouver — The Canucks return to Boston for the first time since a fight-filled affair in January 2012. Thursday, March 27 versus Chicago — The Blackhawks return to TD Garden for the first time since winning the Stanley Cup in June.
