Lane MacDermid Had Two Fighting Majors in the Game Tonight
The Boston Bruins shook off Thursday's loss with a 1-0 victory, in their first trip to the land of Canada for their first of four games against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
As we all know that in 2009 the Bruins traded then 21 yr old Phil Kessel, to Toronto for Toronto's first and second round 2010 pick and their first pick of the 2011 draft. Also, in 2006 we traded then goalie Andrew Raycroft for Tuukka. Who was the smarter team? Ya, that's right the Bruins.
Although it wasn't a blow out, the Bruins played their brand of hockey, with solid defense. Tuukka had 21 saves in the shut out and the defense made key plays to prevent the Maple Leafs from scoring.
The lone game came from the man that I called out the other day, Chris Bourque. Maybe, Bourque and the rest of the third line read my post, because since I wrote that post, the third line has a goal in consecutive games. Also Bourque helped himself out, showing the Bruins ...
