If the Bruins are looking for something to cheer them up after Saturday night's heartbreaking 4-3 loss to the New Jersey Devils at the TD Garden, then they shall look no further than the production of their top line. Yes, their "top" line. Last season, there was plenty of debate as to what line was the team's top line. Was it David Krejci's line? Or was it Patrice Bergeron's line? Well, it's clear this season. Boston's top line belongs to Krejci. And not just Krejci. But also Milan Lucic and Jarome Iginla. The trio was far and away the Bruins' best line in Saturday night's loss. According to Claude Julien, it was the only line that showed up to the rink. "To me, tonight, we had one line going," said Julien after the loss. "And we needed more. We just had too many mediocre guys. Whether it's hitting a wall or whatever the case may be, it just wasn't good enough. We had the day of yesterday, and gave those guys a rest, but three games in four nights isn't always an easy thing to go through. And you wish you could have pulled this one through and had a real good week, but unfortunately that wasn't the case." It might not be that bad a week for Krejci, Lucic, and Iginla. After all, even with the loss to the Devils, the Bruins have won four of their last five. And in the last four games, the trio has combined for seven goals, and six goals in the last three, thanks to Iginla and Lucic's first-period goals that had put Boston up 2-0 and 3-1, respectively, on Saturday night. Midway through the first, Iginla won a race to the puck in New Jersey's right corner. Iginla quickly fired it out front, and the puck re-directed off Devils forward Damien Brunner's leg and past Martin Brodeur.
