Many Habs addicts are upset this morning over the Canadiens' 5-3 loss to the Canes last night. But what did they expect? That the Habs would win every game from here till the end of the season?
There were a lot of positives in the match, namely the continued excellent performance of young guns like Lars Eller and David Desharnais.

Morning puck fans!
The Canadiens lost a heartbreaker last night against the Hurricanes, although they had rallied from a 0-2 deficit to take a one goal lead headining into the final frame.
But, really, the game was the reflection of their season. When the pressure was on for the Habs to build, to capitalize on their momentum, they were tentative and uncertain.

Jaroslav Spacek scored in his return to Montreal and the Carolina Hurricanes snapped the Canadiens' four-game winning streak with a 5-3 victory on Monday night.
It was the first time that Kirk Muller - who played in Montreal for four seasons and was an assistant coach there for five - coached against the Canadiens.

Montreal Canadiens forward Scott Gomez and an assistant coach got into a shouting match at practice Tuesday. Assistant Randy Ladouceur apparently was upset at what he considered a lack of intensity during a drill. Gomez is among the league's highest-paid players but has only one goal this year for the struggling Canadiens.
