Max Pacioretty scored with 2:19 left in overtime to lift the Montreal Canadiens to a 2-1 victory over the Nashville Predators in front of a sellout crowd Saturday night. Shea Weber scored for Nashville. David Desharnais also scored for Montreal and assisted on the game-winner. Desharnais scored the only goal of the first period at with 6:11 remaining. As Nashville goaltender Pekka Rinne dove to his right side Desharnais skated into the crease and backhanded the puck into the open side of the net. Weber tied the game at the 3:20 mark of the second period on a short-handed goal. Weber blasted a slap shot from the top edge of the right circle that went into the net, beating Monteal goaltender Peter Budaj to his right side. Budaj made 25 saves and Rinne stopped 23 shots.
