The Edmonton Oilers acquired defenseman Nick Schultz from the Minnesota Wild for fellow blue-liner Tom Gilbert on Monday.
Schultz ended a 100-game goalless drought with a tally against the San Jose Sharks on Sunday.
The 29-year-old Schultz also has two assists and 30 penalty minutes this season.
Gilbert, 29, collected three goals, 14 assists and 12 penalty minutes in the 2011-12 campaign.
