Last month, Andrei Kostitsyn admitted he wasn't a fan of Montreal Canadiens coach Jacques Martin.
On Wednesday, the two downplayed rumors that they don't get along.
"I think we're good for the season," Kostitsyn told TSN at the team's annual charity golf tournament on Wednesday. "Coach Jacques is a good coach."
"I've never had any issue with Andrei," Martin said. "He's a player that brings a lot to our hockey club."
Despite signing a one-year deal with the Canadiens in June, the 26-year-old Kostitsyn admitted to Belarussian sports website Goals.by last month that he and Martin aren't on the best of terms.
"I can't guess about next season," Kostitsyn told the site at the time. "My relationship with the coach is not too good."
