Cammalleri is expected to miss between 10-14 days because of a deep cut on his right leg. He escaped more serious injury as no muscle or tendon was cut when he appeared to make contact with teammate Yannick Weber's skate during a 5-1 win at Winnipeg on Sunday. Bill Meltzer: Meltzer's Musings: Betts Situation

After watching a marathon of hockey on Friday and Saturday, I figured that it would be safe to take a day away yesterday. I stashed away my phone and accompanied my two-year-old son, Benjamin, on an outing to Sesame Place. When we went back to the car, I glanced at my emails and saw the Flyers press release about Blair Betts being returned to the club as a result of failing his physical...

Game 3: Habs/Flames

On Thursday night the Canadiens will play the first game of the season at the Bell Centre. Unfortunately they will do so without the services of: Markov, Campoli, Cammalleri, Spacek, and White. Luckily, Lars (Larry) Eller will make his first appearance of the year along with Aaron Pulashaj. Don’t expect the world from Eller, but given how bad his preseason went, Pulashaj is lucky...

After two…

TUC has been traveling for the past five days, and internet has been intermittent. However, I was lucky enough to catch both Habs games in full. Without further ado, a few thoughts, as the Habs sit at 1-1. - Carey Price is the key to the Canadiens season, plain and simple. Thus far, he looks cool as a cucumber, and he’s picking up right where he left off in April. - Yannick...
