Per a tweet from TSN's Darren Dreger this AM we've learned the Vancouver Canucks and winger Dale Weise have agreed on a 1-year contract.

In 2011/12 Weise the 6 ft 2 210lb winger put up 4 goals and 4 assists with 100 PIM.

Weise was selected by the New York Rangers in the 4th round, 111th overall, of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

He spent 3 seasons in the Rangers farm system.

He was signed to a one-year, two-way contract on June 27, 2011.

He's a 4th line player. He knows his role. He might make the team in 2012. There's really not much more I can add.

Weise is who he is.
