Vancouver Canucks defenseman Dan Hamhuis left Wednesday's game against Boston following a low hit from the Bruins' Milan Lucic in the second period.
Hamhuis dropped to the ice after taking an apparent knee to his midsection. He was bent over as he skated off the ice before gingerly working his way to the locker room.
Hamhuis, one of Vancouver's most reliable defenders, has one goal and five assists during the playoffs.
Play was tied 0-0 heading into the third period of Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals.
