Canucks firing on all cylinders these days

NHLHS Vancouver Canucks Correspondents Will & Valerie Wittstruck grade the team as 2010 comes to a close and we near the halfway mark of the season. The Canucks head into 2011 with a full head of steam. They are one of the hottest teams in the NHL and are getting close to being 100% healthy. As they hover at the top of the Western Conference standings, let’s take a look at how things are shaping up for the team report card style. Offense: A Led by Henrik and Daniel Sedin, the team is one of the top scoring teams in the league because they’ve gotten balanced and timely scoring from all 4 lines and an active defense. A couple of other forwards that have really shined for the Canucks through the first 35 games are Ryan Kesler and Jeff Tambellini. Kesler has taken his game to another level this season and is 3rd on the team in scoring and tied with Daniel for the team lead in goals with 19.
