Vancouver Canucks injured left wing Daniel Sedin did not make the trip to Los Angeles for Game 3 of his team’s opening-round series with the Los Angeles Kings.Sedin, who suffered a concussion on March 21, did not practice or skate with the team Saturday before they left for California. A former employee of the Canucks said on Twitter that Sedin would not play at all in the opening round of the NHL Playoffs.“You know, there is no timeline on these injuries. I can't tell you more,” head coach Alan Vigneault told reporters when asked if Sedin could play in Game 4. “He's not skating with the team and he's not coming to L.A. I don't know about reports like that. Again, I can't comment more than what I've been telling you.”Vancouver trails Los Angeles 0-2 in the series with the next two games at the Staples Center. Sedin scored 30 goals and recorded 37 assists for the Canucks this season.

The Vancouver Canucks announced Monday that winger Daniel Sedin, who missed the first three games of their playoff series against the Kings because of a concussion, will join the team for a full practice on Tuesday. Daniel Sedin's return for Game 4 far from certain

Could The Canucks Be Rushing Daniel Sedin Back?

Vancouver Canucks fans have had little to cheer for. Their team is in a 3-0 series hole and on the brink of elimination, however they may have found their first reason to cheer. How the Canucks can erase a 0-3 deficit and win the series – a very positive article

Let me start by saying that I don’t think the Canucks will win this series (ok maybe this article isn’t THAT positive). They’re down 3 games to 0 and that’s a near impossible deficit to erase. Even if they play excellent in the next four games, they’ll still need some luck. But right now everyone in Vancouver is talking like the Canucks have already lost the series. Not...

The Kings Need The 2-0 Series Lead

The Los Angeles Kings won game one of the their Western Conference Quarterfinal match-up with the Vancouver Canucks, giving them the 1-0 series lead. Along with grabbing the series lead, the Kings stole the ever important home ice advantage from the Canucks. The Kings controlled a good amount of the game, and out shot the Canucks 39-26. If not for the stellar play by Roberto Luongo...

Fantasy Hockey Playoff ONE (4/15)

We are going to see what some teams are made of today and tonight.  Vancouver will not likely have Daniel Sedin until Game 5 at the earliest.  That is a huge fantasy impact for anyone who owns both "Sedin Twins".  That is just a fact of life.  We are doing the very quick edition today because of that early start time.  Let's get moving and reveal...

Vancouver Canucks fans wonder if a four win comeback is possible

Can they still beat the LA Kings? The numbers are daunting. Only three teams in history, out of 167 opportunities, have recovered from a three games to none deficit in the Stanley Cup finals. That is a pathetic winning comeback rate of just 1.8%. So, then it must certainly be time to write the eulogy for this Vancouver Canucks team, should it not? Not so fast. Quite clearly the...

Who Predicted This?

from Damien Cox of The Spin, There was no sign this was coming. No sign at all six days ago that either the Vancouver Canucks or the Pittsburgh Penguins were in danger, or would quickly lose their first three games of the 2012 Stanley Cup playoffs and find themselves on the precipice. Even those who predicted the Pens and Canucks would lose in the first round foresaw long, drawn...

Canucks Need Goals

from Eric Duhatschek of the Globe and Mail, Vancouver finds itself in a hole, not because of its goaltending issues or its perceived lack of toughness or even because defenceman Alexander Edler is struggling to meet his considerable potential. The Canucks are behind because they cannot score, and they cannot score largely because their most-talented goal-scorer – Daniel Sedin...
