Flyers send D Marshall to Capitals for RW Ford

The Philadelphia Flyers acquired right wing Matt Ford from the Washington Capitals in exchange for defenseman Kevin Marshall. Ford was assisgned to Adirondack, the AHL affiliate of Philadelphia. He had 10 goals and 18 assists in 39 games for Washington's AHL affiliate at Hersey. Marshall did not have a point in 10 games with the Flyers this season.
