The Washington Capitals are expected to start backup Michal Neuvirth in goal for Sunday’s road game against the Chicago Blackhawks.The Capitals No. 1 goalie, Tomas Vokoun, is nursing a lower-body injury and was riding the stationary bike during Sunday’s morning skate. Vokoun started Friday’s 3-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets, making 25 saves, but has been slowed by the injury in recent outings.Neuvirth has won his last two starts, but allowed four goals on 30 shots in a 5-4 shootout win over the New York Islanders last Tuesday. He is 11-11-4 with a 2.81 GAA and a .902 save percentage.Vokoun is 27-17-2 with a 2.53 GAA this season.

Winnipeg fans chant ‘Crosby’s better’ at Capitals
