The Washington Capitals signed unrestricted free agent left wing Chris Bourque to a one-year contract on Saturday. The 25-year-old Bourque spent last year between the Swiss-A League and the Kontinental Hockey League. Drafted by Washington in 2004, Bourque collected one goal and three assists in 33 NHL games with the Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins.
