Some of the Caps players brought their pups to work recently to shoot photos for the 2012 Caps Canine Calendar. We have some of the outtakes here, and the full calendar is now available for purchase.
From the site:
Starting Dec. 9, the 2012 Caps Canine Calendar will be available for sale at Caps home games and at the team store at Kettler Capitals Iceplex. This calendar features photos of Capitals players Karl Alzner, Jay Beagle, Troy Brouwer, Jeff Halpern, Roman Hamrlik, Matt Hendricks, Michal Neuvirth, Jeff Schultz and Dennis Wideman with their dogs and Nicklas Backstrom, John Carlson and Mike Green with dogs from the Washington Animal Rescue League.
In addition to the team store at Kettler, you can also grab a calendar at the community relations table located at section 103/104 on the main concourse during Caps home games in December. The calendars are $20 and all proceeds go to the Washington Animal Rescue League.
