Tonight is the Washington Capitals annual Salute to the Military Night. Here is the official word from the team :
With the support of corporate partners the Capitals will donate thousands of tickets to military personnel throughout the season and on military night. In addition, the various branches of the military and affiliated organizations will have promotional tables on the main concourse where fans can pick up information on the services as well as souvenirs.
The team wore special camouflage jerseys for warm-ups that will be auctioned off during the game at section 119. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit Our Military Kids.
