The Chicago Blackhawks have won their second Stanley Cup in four years thanks to an absolutely bizarre win over the Boston Bruins in Game 6. The Hawks were down 2-1 heading into the final two minutes of play, but Bryan Bickell tied things up with 1:14 left, and with 59 seconds left in regulation, David Bolland took the rebound of a point shot and chipped it past Tuukka Rask, allowing Chicago to defeat Boston 3-2 and taking the Stanley Cup in 6 games.

Updated w/ an interesting article from St. James at 2:15 PM: This afternoon's Red Wings-related stories basically keep the conversation started during the overnight report going. After profiling David Clarkson, Bryan Bickell and Nathan Horton (who will need shoulder surgery), MLive's Ansar Khan looks at the "bargain" goal-scoring forward that the Wings may be interested...
Just a few things that caught my eye:
Bryan Bickell is the perfect foil for Patrick Kane. There's nothing like having a big body to clear space, pick the puck up off the wall and make you look good. Still, Kane sure can snipe.
Earth to Claude Julien -- Joel Quennville didn't notice Zdeno Chara wasn't on the bench for several shifts earlier this series...
