The Chicago Blackhawks are now eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs but postseason hockey in Chicago still rolls on. The Chicago Wolves of the AHL come home to face San Antonio (unfortunately, they are down 2-0 in their best of seven series) in game three of the first round tonight.

And Wolves fans at AllState Arena have a new way to interact with one another, both on and offline. You’ve heard of the social media app Tweet Deck- well this is a real life Twitter Deck.

Christina Moritz, Wolves Manager of Creative Services talked about the Deck’s amenities:

“We’re looking forward to hosting Twitter Deck for our fans throughout the playoffs. We hope to bring our social media to life for them with Wolves trivia, contests, and the new #WolvesFanCast, which offers a raw play-by-play broadcast to the fans from the fans.”

Here are some of the things the Wolves are going to do.

–When you enter the Section 108 party deck, you can put on Wolves hockey gear and they’ll take your picture like when you enter Shedd Aquarium or Science and Industry or any other big public joint these days. You can tweet out that picture, put it on Facebook, become the Mayor of Twitter Deck, the Mayor of Twitter Deck…etc.

–Participate in the #goalpool. You’ll pick a number out of a container that corresponds to a player’s jersey. Every time your player scores, you win a raffle ticket. There will be two goalpools. One for the people on the Twitter Deck and the other for the Twitter folk in Canada and everywhere else who can’t get to the game.

–Spin the Wolves trivia wheel. Every time you answer a trivia question correctly, you win a raffle ticket. Prize-winners drawn at the end.

–Choose the game photos that will appear on the Jumbotron during the third-period “Ice Shots” promotion.
