Chris Kunitz was suspended for Game 4 by the NHL for an elbow to the head of Simon Gagne in Monday’s Game 3.  It sounds as though Kunitz admits that the hit was completely illegal but also not on purpose.  Here’s how he describes his actions: “I was coming through the middle, getting ready to probably finish a check like I usually do. The puck was reaching on him. I had my arms in a bad spot up in the air anyways, and when he kind of spun back in the air toward me I think I went to brush him in the shoulder and got him in the head. Not very responsible on my side. I pride myself on playing within the rules, and that was something that got away from me there.” Regardless, the Pens will take on the Lightning in Game 4 tonight down one left wing.  It’s expected that Eric Tangradi will take the spot of Kunitz tonight.  Tangradi has only played once since February 11th because he was concussed during a game with the New York Islanders. www.y...
