Bruins staff members will also be giving out framed team-autographed jerseys to first responders. Bruins alumni Bob Sweeney and Tommy Songin will conduct a street hockey clinic, and the Bruins Youth Hockey Development team will host a cliic with the Newtown High School varsity hockey team. Twenty-six people, including 20 children, were fatally shot in a mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown on Dec. 14. The vice principal of Sandy Hook, Natalie Green Hammond, will be in attendance at the Bruins’ March 3 game against Montreal where she will drop the ceremonial first puck. The Stanley Cup is also expected to be in attendance, according to the club’s press release.
