The Chicago Blackhawks return to preseason action Thursday when they visit the Minnesota Wild. Forward Colton Dach will finally make his debut after missing the first four exhibition contests due to a concussion.

Dach suffered the concussion in the first game of the Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase on Sept. 16. After a stint in concussion protocol, he returned to practice this week. Dach skated on the left wing of the third line during Wednesday's practice.

The Chicago Blackhawks selected Colton Dach in the second round of the 2021 NHL Draft. He scored 79 points (29 goals, 50 assists) in 61 games for the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL last season.

While Kirby may not be with the organization anymore, the Blackhawks will have a Dach suit up Thursday for a tune-up contest against the Wild. Puck drop is at 7:00 PM CT and the game will air on NBC Sports Chicago.
