Lord Stanley's Blog:
Defenseman Joe Corvo and forward Scott Walker are looking for places to play next season. The Washington Capitals have decided they will not bring back the two players obtained in trades with the Canes, TSN is reporting.
Both players went to the Caps on the March 3 trade deadline. Corvo was traded for defenseman Brian Pothier, prospect Oskar Osala and a second-round pick in the 2011 draft. Walker went to Washington in exchange for a seventh-round pick in this year's draft.
Both Corvo and Walker will be unrestricted free agents.
