SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Coyotes were without forwards Martin Hanzal and Lauri Korpikoski and goaltender Mike Smith at Monday's practice in Scottsdale. The team practiced locally before boarding a plane for Chicago in advance of Tuesday's Game 3 in the NHL Western Conference playoffs. The series is tied at 1-1. All three players were banged up in Saturday's Game 2 of the Western Conference quarterfinals, though Smith did not miss any action. Hanzal limped off the ice after three shifts with an apparent leg injury, but the Coyotes didn't specify his injury, nor did they disclose Korpikoski's. Not surprisingly, Coyotes coach Dave Tippett declined to discuss any health situations following Monday's practice. "Our health is just fine," Tippett said. "We have everybody under evaluation, that's where we're at, that's not a concern of ours."
