Sidney Crosby (courtesy of espn.com) After a brutal 6-1 loss at the hands of the Boston Bruins, some can say Sidney Crosby played like ass.  And what’s a synonym for ass? Butt. And that’s what Crosby was; the butt of a joke. Unbeknownst to Crosby, members of the Boston media were on a flight piloted by a crew from JetBlue Airlines. Reports from the plane say that a baby started to cry. When the pilot heard the crying, he came over the intercom and said “Is that Sidney Crosby in the back crying?” Boston media tweeted the laugh riot immediately. Joe Haggerty of Comcast Sportsnet tweeted:   Joe Haggerty ‏@HackswithHaggs11h Baby crying in back of Jet Blue flight packed w/Boston media. Pilot just got on intercom and asked if “Sidney Crosby was in the back crying”   So how did Penguins fan take this little sarcastic joke? Not too kindly! Some fans have even called and tweeted to JetBlue Airlines demanding an apology! Some have even gone as far as boycotting the Airline in general! Seriously Pens fans? You’d boycott an entire airline just because of a joke? COME ON! If he’s as good as you think he is, he’s taken worse criticism than this! So somebody called him a cry baby. SO WHAT! Show me a hockey fan who’s not a fan of his that hasn’t called him a cry baby and I’ll show you a liar! Like him or not, Crosby is talented. But in the words of everyone’s favorite uncle from Spider Man Uncle Ben “with great power comes great responsibility.” In short if you’re talented, someone’s gonna hate you. Although it’s not like he hasn’t given his haters any material to not hate him for. Like it or not Pens fans, this happened! If you don’t like, well so what. You can’t stop the haters.
