Thursday was a very strange day for Philadelphia sports. Things started out on the wrong foot, but then quickly turned to the right foot...then went sour again.
The Flyers won their first game of the 2013 season on Thursday night at the Wells Fargo Center. The orange and black defeated their rivals, and team they haven't beaten in their last 8 meetings, the New York Rangers. (The Orange Update)
Thursday wasn't all peaches and cream for the Flyers on Thursday, as news came out of Scott Hartnell foot injury. Hartnell was listed as "out indefinitely" to now being out 4-8 weeks with a broken big toe. (Buzz on Broad)
