PLAYERS: Derek Roy
TEAMS: Dallas Stars
In case you haven’t noticed, there haven’t been any NHL games yet this season.  2012-2013 was supposed to have started about two weeks ago and the beginning isn’t anywhere in site.  Why?  Because the owners and players can’t agree that both parties make too much money and that fans and arena workers are the ones losing in this deal. Former Buffalo Sabre, now Dallas Star, Derek Roy just wants a fair deal for the players and he tweeted so much Thursday evening.  That’s fine and dandy, but it’s awful timing to talk about negotiations after you had just tweeted a picture of your Lamborghini three hours prior. This afternoon, Roy bragged about how loud his Lambo is when he starts it in parking garages: And then Roy’s plea that he just wants to play hockey (AFTER THE PLAYERS GET A FAIR DEAL, OF COURSE). He must need gas money.  Tool.
