The Dallas Stars have been busy trading away many of their assets before the NHL trade deadline passes. On Tuesday alone, the team from Texas, dealt Jaromir Jagr to the Boston Bruins and now Derek Roy to the Vancouver Canucks. These two players signed deals with the Dallas Stars only this past summer. And had performed well with the club. Before today's deals, the Dallas Stars traded their top scorer Michael Ryder to the Montréal Canadiens and also dealt long-time captain, Brendan Morrow to the Pittsburgh Penguins.Am not exactly sure what the Dallas Stars are thinking... this is a team that was in a playoff position just last week. I mean, you do get some quality prospects in these trades, but if I'm being honest, these deals do not make sense at this time. Saying goodbye to these veterans signals the Dallas Stars have given up.Can anybody explain this?
