The No. 1 pick in the draft for today's NHL All-Star Game, Team Chara's Pavel Datsyuk is the subject of a new McFarlane Toys action figure (below). Although it's not exactly an action pose. Instead of trying to capture one of his magic moves, it has Datsyuk leaning over, getting ready to win a face-off.

Although it was Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks that dressed as Superman during the Breakaway Challenge in the NHL All-Star Skills Competition, it was Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara that had the real feat of strength, blasting a 108.8 mph bomb in the Hardest Shot competition, shattering his own record of 105.9 mph.

So the NHL All-Stars did their draft yesterday and Habs goaltender, Carey Price, was selected by Team Chara.
This is perhaps a bit of a surprise considering Zdeno Chara's assistant for the draft was Joffrey Lupul, of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Still, it's all in good fun and Price will be playing alongside Chara, Tim Thomas, Lupul and others from the Bruins and Leafs...
