Found July 04, 2012 on The Pensblog:
According to Pierre Lebrun a decision will come today:   Prized free agents Zach Parise and Ryan Suter are expected to decide their futures Wednesday, sources told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun. Now reading between the lines here. 1. This report also list Ryan Suter as making a decision. 2. This quote: A source also confirmed that Suter visited with both Detroit and Minnesota on Tuesday. The Detroit Free Press reported that the Red Wings increased their offer to the defenseman on Sunday of $80 million over 13 years to $90 million.   3. Couple that quote, with this interview by Josh Rimer of Zach Parise last night: In that interview Parise expresses interest in playing with Ryan Suter. So, one would think that when the smoke clears is has got to be Minnesota in the lead. That is who our money is on. Buckle up.

With no Parise, Lamoriello, Devils eye 'Plan B'

Lou Lamoriello did not speak with anger in his voice. He was not short with his answers. And he even declined an offer to wrap up the interview after 20 minutes, fearing that the media may have some more questions for him. Indeed, the New Jersey Devils general manager has been through this before - losing a marquee player to free agency - and his team has survived. That's how...
