Gillis announced today that the Canucks have recalled defenceman Derek Joslin from the Worcester Sharks. Joslin has split the 2012.13 season between the AHL Chicago Wolves and Worcester Sharks. In 53 games with Chicago, the 6’1”, 210-pound defenceman collected 10 points (2-8-10) and 40 penalty minutes. In 13 games with the Sharks this season, he recorded six points (2-4-6) and seven penalty minutes. The Richmond Hill, ON, native has collected 16 points (4-12-16) and 63 penalty minutes in 114 NHL games with the San Jose Sharks and Carolina Hurricanes.
