Will the Red Wings land defenseman Ryan Suter as an unrestricted free agent? He is classic Detroit player: Skilled and versatile.To add some sandpaper, the Red Wings landed Predators agitator Jordin Tootoo for three years, $5.7 million. Tootoo will replace free agent winger Tomas Holmstrom.The team also made the signing of Swiss star Damien Brunner official.
