Due to absence induced by a turkey coma, I am here to bring everyone up to speed with a few bits of Devils information. First off, Nick Palmieri has been assigned to the AHL Albany Devils. Palmieri has been tremendously under-performing this year. He has only acquired three goals and three assists during the season so far. This move could be seen as a wake up call for Palmieri. He may also end up being trade bait in the future depending on how he handles his demotion. “He’s just got to play,” DeBoer said of Palmieri. “He’s got to play with confidence. Martin Brodeur proved he can still make unbelievable saves in a game against the New York Islanders earlier today. Brodeur made a save on Michael Grabner's breakaway, and second swat. But the highlight reel save came when Kyle Okposo tried to bury the rebound and Brodeur made a cart wheel save with his glove. The Islanders went on to win the game by a score of 3-2.
