New Jersey Devils center Travis Zajac will undergo tests on his ailing left Achilles tendon, general manager Lou Lamoriello said on Tuesday.
Zajac is expected to join the team in Winnipeg for Wednesday's game against the Jets.
"All indications are he'll be fine," Lamoriello said prior to the team's contest against the Atlantic Division rival New York Rangers.
Zajac missed the team's first 30 games this season after tearing his Achilles tendon during offseason workouts. He returned to the club on Dec. 16 before sitting out in early January with pain in the same area.
