Devils left wing Zach Parise has left New Jersey's game against Washington in the second period after getting sandwiched between two Capitals. Parise already had scored a hat trick Friday night before he was hit simultaneously by forwards Brooks Laich and Matt Hendricks near the boards. Play was stopped while Parise was checked and stayed down on the ice for a bit. Eventually, he was helped off and taken toward the locker room. Parise's three goals Friday give him a team-leading 27 this season.
