The Devils have signed two players to contracts as the team continues to recover from a recent string of debilitating injuries.
The first signing came in the form of Ryan Carter who was put on waivers by the Florida Panthers. Most recently, however, the Devils have signed Steve Bernier to a contract with the AHL affiliate, the Albany Devils.

Like it will in February and March when NHL teams are in the thick of a playoff race, division play has dominated the Coyotes' schedule to this point. But they'll play outside the division when they host the New Jersey Devils on Thursday.
The Stars will honor Joe Nieuwendyk on his naming to the Hockey Hall of Fame on Saturday prior to the game vs. the New Jersey Devils. The ceremony starts at 6:45 pm sharp, and fans are encouraged to come early for the festivities.
