The Dallas Stars would like to see Loui Eriksson recover his form from their five-game win streak earlier this month. Eriksson has not been as big a factor over the last three games heading into the Stars' visit from the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night. Dallas (7-3-0) won five straight from Oct. 10-21 as Eriksson amassed seven points with a plus-seven rating. The Stars have a shootout win and two losses since, and the winger has one assist and is at minus-3 in that span. Dallas had its perfect home start end in Thursday's 5-3 loss to Los Angeles. Eriksson logged under 18 minutes for the first time in nine games, and was minus-2 with one assist. The Stars rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period as Michael Ryder and Eric Nystrom scored, but fell behind for good with 6:52 remaining.
