It seems like every Penguins fan has Jordan Staal on the brain right now. They’re either talking about how he was the last Ray Shero draft pick to make an impact in the NHL or they’re talking about how he should be traded before he goes all James Taylor on the Pens and goes to Carolina so him and his big brother can finally get those bunk beds.
Welp, Hall of Famer Dave Molinari from the Post-Gazette was talking about nothing but Staal on Twitter today…he even dropped a Staal wedding tweet. BUT, Molinari wasn’t spreading trade rumors, he was giving Shero nuggets about how Staal might not be going anywhere.
For about 15 minutes, Molinari’s fingers were working harder than a ninth grader’s in his girlfriend’s basement, so instead of recapping today’s episode of the Staal soap opera, we’ll just relive it through one giant Molinari retweet.
Ray Shero: Staal has not told the Penguins he is interested in playing elsewhere after his deal expires in 2013, still hopes to re-sign him.
