Anaheim Ducks defenseman Francois Beauchemin's hit on Mike Fisher in Saturday's game will be reviewed by the NHL, the Orange County Register reported.
In the first period of Anaheim's 3-0 loss to Nashville, Beauchemin knocked down Mike Fisher near center ice and was penalized for an illegal check to the head. Fisher suffered an upper body injury.
Fisher was playing just his third game since returning from shoulder surgery. On Monday, Beauchemin took eight stitches to the face when he was hit by a deflected puck.
Beauchemin has a goal and two assists in 10 games this season.

The struggling Anaheim Ducks have recalled center Nick Bonino from their AHL affiliate in Syracuse.
The Ducks also optioned left wing Jean-Francois Jacques back to Syracuse on Monday.
Bonino has 11 points in nine games with Syracuse this season. He has played in 35 games with the Ducks in previous seasons.
